Qlik issues on Windows Tablet (HP Elite Pad 900), help needed

Hello,

We are building a Qlik solution for one of our clients who use windows tablet with below mentioned configuration as their mobile device.

OS: Windows 8.0

Memory - 2GB

Intel Graphics media accelerator

Resolution - 1280/800

On accessing the application on the tab through the url , we have noted below issues

1.> Sliders do not seem to work unless you touch the up & down arrows on top or bottom of the slider respectively

2.> Scroll bars on tables do not work unless you touch the up & down arrows on top or bottom of the  scroll bar respectively

3..> Scrolling moves the entire screen as opposed to just the contents of the object eg. List box contents

The above mentioned operations work on an iPad but do not on this windows tablet.

Has anyone faced similar issues and do you know of a solution to resolve this?

Your inputs will be appreciated

Thanks

Which browser do you use. Maybe a change to another browser solved your problem.

Hi Marcus,

The browser we are using is IE 11

Using another browser is not an option due to some requirements.

Let us know if you know any possible reason for this behavior.  Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

QV supports the IE 11 only since one of the last releases. This post Re: IE Plugin in Internet explorer 11 meant SR5 but I'm not quite sure and since then there was many bugfixes so that an upgrade to a newer release could be solve this problem.

Which release you are running?

Hi Marcus

Thanks for your help so far...small correction

The release of QV version installed on server is 11.20.12235.0 SR5 64-bit Edition(x64). This seems to be in line with release needed for these features to work on tab.

SR5 is quite old - sinde then there was many bugfixes. Further important seems to be the OS version - SR5 mentioned support for windows 8.1 - QlikView 11.20 SR5 Beta is now available - I think the server-pendant is windows server 2012.
