QlikSense Installation Error

Hi All,

I'm getting an error while trying to install QlikSense latest version.

I've followed all the threads on community, but of no luck.

I have even tried to install as admin, even that didn't help me.

Could someone please help me in solving the issue.

I've tried it a lot of times, but it's not working out.

Thanking in Advance.

Regards,

Jesh

I've found an article in the knowledgebase that says the issue could be incorrectly set up performance counters. You can try to fix that by executing these commands as administrator:

LODCTR /S:lodctr_backup_20180829.ini

LODCTR /R

Hi Gysbert,

I have executed the below commands as administrator. Even though I'm getting the error in installing QS.

Attached the logfiles.

I see the same error in the log files. Perhaps powershell wasn't allowed to execute. Did you run the installer as administrator? Is there any anti-virus software blocking things?

I don't understand about powershell.

In order to ensure that my installation file is not included in scan, i've totally uninstalled antivirus from my machine for short time and then tried to install QS as admin. But, still i'm getting the same issue.

Earlier, i had never got such issue, recently when i tried to upgrade it from Jun 2017 to the latest version, then the problem started.

I'm trying all the possible scenarios, i'm not understanding what the exact issue is.

I've tried installing it in another machine as well, I see the same issue over there as well.

Is this a problem for everyone while upgrading to the latest version or only am i the only who's facing such issue.:(

Anyways, if there is any other possible way that you can help me, please do the needful.
