QlikView 11 EDX checking status of task

Hi All,

I'm looking to write a macro to check the status of a task after using EDX to run it.  Since QlikView 11 does not allow HTTP in its macros, I'm not sure of any way to do this.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
