Please, anyone, provide me any details on the datatypes used in QlikView,
and how it works while connecting with databases with ODBC connection.
I need to understand how multibyte or single-byte data from Database can be imported into the Qlikview using ODBC.
Please provide any link, that can explain it .

Thank you for your input.
I have gone through the documents, but there is one fundamental question,
When QlikView will fail to load data, and why?
Because, In my project, I have encountered that Qlikview does not support Multibyte characters. and throwing below error-->
"Error: QVX_UNEXPECTED_END_OF_DATA: SQL##f - SqlState: S1000, ErrorCode: 29275, ErrorMsg: [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-29275: partial multibyte character"
In this context can you please explain how we can represent Chinese/Japanese characters in QlikView, Because what we know these characters are mostly multibyte. Then how we work with these Japanese/Chinese characters?
Please help me understand this issue.
