What do you think are the best options for QlikView training? Ranging from free to paid. For users from who are just getting started to those with some experience.
My personal path has been a week training class split into developer and designer a few years ago that I found to be helpful for jumping into QlikView. I am curious to hear what the community would suggest to help get users to speed and effectively leveraging QlikView.
Thanks!
There are some good QlikView books published by PackT especially the QlikView 11 for Developers and the QlikView Cookbook.
Hi, Tyler.
There are a number of options available to you. Getting onto the course is a good start. As Bill mentioned there are a number of good books out there too. There are also some useful videos to look at:
If you cannot get the experience within your current job, or you are looking to stretch yourself, try answering questions on this forum. If you see something interesting that you don't know the answer to, check on the answers other people pot.
Lastly, if you are looking to get some practice, there is plenty of free data out on the internet that you can use to create dashboards. Last year there was a competition to develop dashboards from public data. Have a look at the winners to see what QlikView can do .
