QlikView Upgrade from 11 to 12

Hi,

I have

Qlikview 11, want to upgrade it to Qlikview 12..on live server

What are the steps or activity to be done.. which files backups require.. ?

please help me with the guide available.

Hi Shovan,

1. Qlikview latest version download from Qlikview community(us-b.demo.qlik.com/download
2. Take backup of Qlkitech folder from server -Progarm Data and keep it into another folder.
3. stop all qlikview services before installation
4. Install new Qlikview server upgrade
5. Restart server
6. go to qmc and starts all tasks one by one

all the jobs which i have scheduled will be unharmed or i have to again schedule all the jobs from scratch after upgrade.

No need to rescheduled your jobs after successful up-gradation of QV 11 to 12.  It will be as it is.

Just make sure  that you have taken backup of all live application & required files (like .pgo etc)

Just take back up  and install new version. No need to create from scratch again
