QlikView - Using the REST Connector with authentication

Trying to set up REST call to an api to Five9.  I can retrieve the wsdl, but beyond that, nothing.  I get to a point that looks like it will work, but then get "Connection Failed Value cannot be null. Parameter name: stringToEscape".  I have no idea what this error means or how to specify a non-null value for it.  So, two questions:

1. Has anyone connected QlikView or Qlik Sense to Five9?

2. Is there a way to specify a non-null value for this parameter?
