QlikView on SAP

Has anyone implemented QlikView for SAP customers? or does most of the SAP clients prefer their own BI reporting? Which SAP module did you implement QV on?

Good day Sir Rakesh,

Can you give me a step by step procedure on how to import those transports?

Thank you very much!

Hi Mars,

Just like any other external transports, QV SAP Connector comes with CoFiles & DataFiles for 2 transports. These files are extracted and placed in the install directory (the install manual has the exact location). You can pick these files and place in your common transport directory under Cofiles and Data files diretories respectively. Then you would need to add them to the buffer with using "tp addtobuffer" or similar depending on your OS on SAP system. Then, by doing TP IMPORT you can simply import those transports in the system. Once imported, you would need to adjust some user profiles & create a new user you would need to use when extracting data. The install manual has step-by-step instructions.

Hopefully this gives you what you are looking for.

Rakesh

Mr. Rakesh,

I have another question is it normal that the database NSP has 49-50% data? and why is my Z Tables doesn't contain any record? I haven't encountered any errors during the installation..I'm using SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version..

Thanks,

In addition to what Rakesh said , we have very successful projects on several SAP customers and it's grows popular no our markets is israel, both R\3 & BW date.

The templates of ClikTech are quite ok. I implemented Qlikview on SAP R\3 data in several customers with great successful on moduls as:

SD - Sales model with connection to COPA - Profitability

MM - Purchasing Model, Inventory Model

PP - Orders Model , Scrap & Hours(Machine, Workers) Model

CO - Cost reporting

my company make some several more Qlikview models Based on R\3 tables and BW Cubes.
