Page 93 - " A second benefit is that a dimensional model is very easy to understand, and can be extended gracefully. It is very easy to add new facts (as long as they share the same granularity), new dimensions, or extend existing dimensions."

How can they be "extended easily" ? Why is it easy to add new facts if they share the same granularity ?

Hi John,

same granularity of facts means they use the same dimensions. So in this case you can just add a new fact field in the existing fact table or join a whole new fact table to the existing.
