You need to open your file with version 7.52 and then save it again.
Then you can open it with versions 8, 9 and 10.
According to the QV Reference Manual (version 10, but applies to version 9 in this section), you have:

The development team has done absolutely everything we could to make the migration
to QlikView 10from earlier versions as smooth as possible. We believe that we
have succeeded and think that the migration from QlikView 7.52, 8 and 9 has the
potential of being very smooth indeed. This document lists some areas of concern.
3.1 File Format Compatibility
File Format Compatibility in QlikView 7, 8, 9 and 10
QlikView 7.52 and later share the same file format as QlikView 10. You may
work in these versions in parallel virtually without thinking about it. New
QlikView 10 document features will of course not work in QlikView 7.52, 8
or 9 but will be retained even if the document is opened and edited in the earlier
version. The whole thing works very much like Microsoft Office files
have been working for some time now.
File Format Read Compatibility with Earlier Versions
QlikView 10 will open all QlikView files created in QlikView 7.52 and later.
Should you need to open files from earlier QlikView versions, you need to
go via QlikView 7.52. Contact your QlikView vendor for a free copy.
The development team always strives to make the appearance of a document
in the new version as similar as is ever possible to how it looked in the older
version. However, sometimes added functionality must come with the price
of changes in the look of old documents.
Saving in Earlier File Formats from QlikView 10
QlikView 10cannot save documents in any file format usable in versions
prior to QlikView 7.52.
