There is no such a document available in the market compare to other tool and software.

Yes, you can get idea after checking the QlikView Reference Manuals.

There are few more books available for QlikView learning... which can help you to understand functions practically.

Book by packtpub on QlikView scripting

And last but not at least, regularly reading Qlik Community Blogs and Question-Answer will help you a lot to understand Functions and their use..

There are lot of the syntax and no such document for this if you refer the reference manual it will give good example and explanation.
