Qlikview No of users support with Windows 7

Hi All,

just want to confirm that how much  Qlikview users supported by Window 7?

also is it like that for using Qlikview users on windows do the Windows OS need

to buy with CAL?

That means if Client buys suppose 15 users then:

Q.1   Will Windows OS (7,XP, ETC) need to be bought with that much no of CALS

         as users will connect to Qlikview throgh access point and that users will be created on windows OS

         there is no Active Directory maintained ?

Q.2  will windows 7 will support more that 10 Qlikview users

the above two queries are from client who is about to buy the product

Hi,

QlikView Licencing is different from Windows Licencing. There is nothing to do with how many users you create in windows 7.

All that you need to do is buy CALS either Named cal or Document cals from Qlik.

Again there is difference with Enterprise edition and Small Business Edition.

Its independent of Active directory, You can create any number of users. Once you buy windows Licence  you need not to buy anything to create additional users in windows.
