Qlikview Running Total in Chart by Day in Month

Hi All

I am battling to get my running total to calculate correctly. I want to see the running total for each month, but the numbers are wrong.

If you look at the chart, you will see that the lines go down, which it should never do. It should increase every day. The end value for each line doesn't balance to the chart on the right where I show the running total. So it needs to accumulate by day for each month. The line chart should show each month individually with the progression in sales for each month's month to date.
