Hi community,
I'm in desperate need of help....
A qlikview file I've been developing for months suddenly can't to opened. It fails when I open it, generating an error message. I've tried to load without data (right-qlik the file from recently used files) as well as used the application/script recovery function in the "about qlikivew" section.
I don't have any backup saved......
Any ideas on how to save the file?
1) Do you have license?
2) Can you try to re-created one more app and use Binary load and see?
What error are you seeing when you try to open the QVW? What was the last change you made before you weren't able to open the QVW?
Thanks,
Josh

The error message I get is: "File XXX could not be loaded". I press OK and get a second error message: "Failed to open document".
Not sure of last change, but nothing fundamental.
I'm using personal edition.
What does binary load mean?
Hi! Try open it without data:

I get the same error message when I right-qlik -> open without data.
I came across the same issue, but it seems this issue hasn't resolved yet. anyone could help on this?
Hi @ShelleyLiao , this probably has to with file corruption, which might happen at any time. Which error are you getting?
