Hi all,
I am new on Qlikview and looking for documentation / training documents. To me it looks like most conversations and documents are about "installed" Qlikview programs.
However, I am using a web based shared Qlikview instance with pre defined locked reports in several tabs (set up by a Qlikview reseller) . (it looks like this: http://prntscr.com/irvtew )
I have the possibility (and am using it to my full extend) to create my own reports on new added tabs.
So my first question: is this "web based variant" another Qlikview flavour and is there seperate documentation? (Or am I mistaking if I think that the "regular" Qlikview documentation" can not help me? ( Basically I don't even know which product I seem to be using).
And then my second question: I came a long way so far but I got stuck while setting up conditional dimensions:
Further explanation: in reality dimension A you find 40+ productgroups for men and women. Men and women are values of database field B. I like to only show statistics of men productgroups in my chart.
My first post, not sure if it's ok to combine 2 questions here, but maybe if the first one is answered I can find the second one myself
thank you!
Roy
Standard Qlikview documentation applies. There is no difference in properties or capabilities for "user objects" (what you are are creating).
There is a difference in the UI of QlikView Desktop vs the web interface you are using, but everything is there and the standard documentation applies. https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/November2017/Subsystems/Client/Content/create-docs-charts.htm
You are restricted from accessing the script and certain parts of the document properties.
It is best to ask one question per post. Welcome!

Thank you Rob! Opening or saving QVW files does not seem to be possible in the/my webinterface?
Regards,
Roy
Correct. You may not update the qvw itself. Charts you create in the web interface are stored in a separate file (".shared file") and are not visible to others using the same app. Optionally, you may share charts you created with others but they have to "pull" them onto their personal sheet using the Repository dialog. They will not appear automatically.

Thank you!
