Will qlikview reload data faster if we use a database rather than let qlikview read excel spreadsheets or it simply does nothing in terms of having a faster reload?
It will depend highly on the number or records you are loading, the size of the files, speed of odbc connection to the database, processes opened in the database, concurrency of users...
Usually, loading from database gets you more updated records, anyway, do a little testing before.
