QulikView Document file editing access denied.

HI,

I'm very new to Qlikview. when I'm editing and going to save the file i'm getting the bellow error.

Please anyone tell me where is the problem, thank you very much for your help.

Hi Shovan,

what error you are getting please type below else we were unable to find that popup message.

any way as per my knowledge ,some errors are like below after edit

1)

This error will come because of Personal edition user can't able to open other developer developed application in their personal edition

2)

Because of script error it will happen

i mean some thing your code have syntax issue

3)

Error got because of ODBC connection issue.

4)

While developing developer implements Section Access so if you know the Credentials then only you will be able to open the application else it will throw error.

please help us Error message clearly.else share the document, so that our folks help you.

If the .qvw file exists in a server maybe you don't have proper rights that will let you modify it.

Your user must have read/write rights on the containing folder of the .qvw  file.

I have all access to that folder. only the qvw files i can't modify. i can create new qvw in that folder and then modify it.

Hi Shovan

Are you able to open the problem file if you copied it onto another folder that you have acess to?

May be they are readonly files at the OS level?

Thanks for your reply. I was able to create my folder and my qwv files.

And the problem got fixed. there was some issue with server access.
