REST API ?

Hello guys, I'm new to qlik and have one question regarding API. I want to integrate custom software with qlik but I'm interested in data integration only. My question is, do you have any REST API that can be used to retrieve data sets with metadata? I've searched your online materials but couldn't find answer for this. Thanks.

Thanks for your answer. I'm also interested in QlikView. So far I have found that they have QMS api that is soap based service. Is there any REST API for QlikView also ?

There is no REST API for QlikView no. Meta data can be obtained directly from the QVW files and QVD files of QlikView. Or it can be harvested with the QlikView Governance Dashboard (but this requires) file-access to the same files.
