I am attempting to use Rank in a straight table and it is not working correctly.
This is an example of my two data tables
Company Name | Money |
---|---|
Company A | 10 |
Company B | 20 |
Company C | 45 |
Company D | 15 |
Company E | 25 |
Company F | 30 |
Group Name | Company Name |
---|---|
Group 1 | Company A |
Group 1 | Company B |
Group 2 | Company C |
Group 3 | Company D |
Group 3 | Company E |
Group 3 | Company F |
So I then set up a straight table that looks like this
Group Name | Money | Rank |
---|---|---|
Group 1 | 30 | - |
Group 2 | 45 | 1 |
Group 3 | 70 | - |
My Rank formula is rank(Money), it is only ranking the one group that only has one company under it. Is there a way to fix this?
try Rank(sum(money))
Try this
=rank(aggr(sum(money),Groupname))
