What is your source data? If you know source data just run a query in your source and compare that with what you load into Qlikview? Try to elaborate your question in detail or with some sample data. Your threads are very generic rather than specific. If you are very new to Qlikview, may be Qlik reference or Developer book would give you ample amount of information to start of with. Hope this helps.

Data validation can be in many areas:

1. Source data check on loading time in File Wizard area.

2. Script debug with limited load, for issues identification.

3. Updated Data after performing different loads

4. After using/change of different functionalities in script, how data got generated.

5. Checking Data model creation, identification of issues in data model.

6. Data Integrity check.

7. Data selection in objects, filtration of data happening in other objects check.

8. Alternate states, link objects, triggers,Bookmarks.. by these options, how data is changing in objects.

9. Data Accuracy in objects (Correct data, less data, invalid data...)

10. Tasks creation on daily loads, checking new data from QMC.

11. Data sync @ local desktop app with Access point app.

12. Client want change on any object data display, then modifications on it, again validations.

Like this, need to do Data validations in many areas of the Dashboard.
