Rebuilding history

I'm looking for a way to rebuild the history of a report.

The report tracks open orders by day.

I've attached a data set similar to what I am working with.

Using the data set attached:

On day 1 we accepted 17 customer orders for a total of 4692.98, however one of those orders shipped on the same day so we subtract that order -421.53. The total open for day 1 is 4271.45.

On day 2 we accept 22 new customer orders for a total of 6344.06 + the remainder for the previous day 4271.45. We did not ship any orders. The total open for day 2 is 6344.06 + 4271.45 = 10615.51

On day 3 we accept 20 new orders for a total of 6126.85 + the remainder from the previous day 10615.51. We shipped 5 orders for a total of 1451.00. The total open for day 3 is 6126.85 + 10615.51 - 1451.00 = 15291.36

and so on ....

So the final chart would look like

DateOpen
2/1/174,271.45
2/2/1710,615.51
2/3/1715,291.36

Hello Scott Just curious to know how you got 5 orders for Date 2/3/2017 as 1451.0? Just wondering?

C0011, C0027, C0028, C0029, & C0049 all have the ship dates of 2/3/17. The sum of those orders = 1451
