Release selection on listbox

Hi,

I have one listbox for fiscal year and another one for calendar year.

I want users only to be able to make a selection in either the fiscal year or the calendar year listbox.

Upon selection of one listbox the selection on the other one should be released.

Thanks in advance

You can use the field event triggers to clear the field.

Go to Settings > Document Properties > Triggers > Field Event Triggers > Click the field > Click Add Action under OnSelect >

Add > Action Type: Selection > Action: Clear Field > Press OK > Put the Fieldname under the Field > Press OK

Do the same to your other field.

The only other way to do things might be to use the Conditional Show settings on the list boxes, leave them both showing unless there is a selection in one of them at which point that causes the remaining list box to hide itself such that the users cannot make a selection there until they clear the one in the other list box...
