Reload Error

Hi Community,

i am facing this issue from last 7 days on several Dashboard its failed to reload fequently... here is the error from log

Hi Colin_Albert

I checked on QMS Performance MaxConcurrentReload is set to 2.

If this is the reason please let me know how can i increase this and what is the limit of max Concurrent Reloads?

I set 14 Dashboard on Continously Reload.

Limit = min(No of Processor cores-1, 9)  Not sure about the 9 though.

Go to QMC->System->Setup->Distribution Service->Advanced->QlikView Engine->Max Nr ... for distribution.

There is a problem with the Distribution Service calling a COM component. IIRC there was a system patch for COM objects to be applied if you want to use more than a certain number of parallel QVB engines.

What is the maximum number of engines that can be started simultaneously on your server?

Is your server running Publisher only (QDS service only) or does the server run both QlikView Distribution Service and QlikView Server Service (QVS)?

If you run QDS and QVS the maximum recommended number of reloads should be limited to half the number of cores, so cpu is available for QVS.

If the server only runs publisher QDS then this can be increased, but should not exceed the number of available cores. There are additional configuration changes required to use more than 8 cores.

Do you really need to run 14 reloads continuously?

Can you chain the reloads so one rinse on completion of another?

i just stop the remaining on continous reload i set only 5 app now on continous reload. but now my one of dashboard displayed status failed here is the error log when i reload it manually its also failed  to reload

The error below shows that the reload failed,

You need to view the document log to see why the reload failed. The log you posted is the distribution log.
