Hi,

Check if you C: drive has space?

Make some more space in you C: drive as the document needs space to save the .qvw

It has happened with me twice, that the task failed without any error just because C: drive doesn't have enough space.

Any completed successfully, after I cleared some space from it.

(You can remove Temporary files, and move some files from C: to 😧 or E: whatever applicable.)

Hi Peter,

I have enabled the document log file in the server, than i found, file is not connecting to odbc, again removed and configurred, and its working fine.

But, even previously also i tested odbc connection, connection was successfull.. i dont know, what made the difference..

Usually, i dont enable the log file, since, it is genedated every 2 minutres of reload, so i disable that..

May i ask you, whether we can install qlikview server and client on the same windows server machine,, so that i can do the chagnes quickly?

Thank you peter

Yes, you can install QV Desktop on the server machine without any problem. QV Desktop will not interfere with QlikView server operations. And as you already discovered, this brings quite a speedup in last-minute changes (like temporarily enabling log file generation, enabling Section Access and Data reduction which may have been disabled in Development etc.)

Keep in mind that you will need a Named CAL assigned to the service account if you plan to use that account to make any changes to documents hosted by the server.

Best,

Peter

Dear Ganesh,

Happened with us.

Username from which QV services are running, add that username in section access as ADMIN.

Reload that file manually and save it and after doing this change QMC reload should work.
