Reloading

Hi,

If the QVW file is scheduled to run on every 5 min or 2min. And the same time user is acessing the QVW files. What will happen to the selections made by the user .Also will the latest data automatically updated in the QVW file.

Hi,

as from 8.5 qlikview server handles graceful refresh (before then the users were simply logged off the server and had to log in again!)

you control this via the Document settings->Server tab.

You can choose whether to update regardless, or whether to let the user decide if they wish to update. You can prompt them with a message or just letthe refresh icon go green and act as a reminder.

This all works fine in 8.5 and yes the users get to keep their current selection.

It is graceful and was a big step forward when it came in.
