Hello experts,
I need your help to solve an issue on calculating a Rolling Average.
The problem I'm unable to tackle is that my calculation doesn't consider the previous year; I mean: looking at the numbers, the sum I get includes the figures of the current year but, in spite of the selected "set" (1, not $), it returns only the sum of the year.
Enclosed you will find an example QVW. I've set up several aggregations, all of which return the correct numbers (Current YTD, Last YTD, Current Month, Last Year same month etc.) except for the last one (the average).
What I expected to have is:
- for MonthID 24198, an average value of 169.743 (€ 2.036.926/12)
- for MonthID 24197 an average value of 167.881 (€ 2.014.572/12)
and so on...
What am I missing??
Thanks in advange for your help!

Hello Marcus,
thanks for your prompt reply.
Actually I've tried several methods, including the "AsOf" table but didn't succeed. I think that the problem is not in the selection of the period... if you look at the .qvw you'll see that the "MonthID" selection runs fine, while the sum doesn't bring the expected value.
Sorry, I couldn't help you. Your application-structure is quite complicated with hundreds of variables for the expressions and it would need too much time to understand the logic before I would be able to help you in any way.
