Hello,
New user here...
I am trying to accomplish the following.
I want to create a chart straight table in the following format, if possible.
Columns: DESCRIPTION, JUL09, AUG09, SEP09
ROW1: SALES, 10, 20 ,30
ROW2: EXPENSES: 5, 10, 15
ROW3: GROSS MARGIN 50%, 50%, 50%
This gross margin would be a calculated value: SALES / EXPENSES;
I don't know how to get ROW3 to display as a %. Generally, as I understand, the field settings apply to the entire column.
Its there anyway to transpose a Straight Table in Qlikview? I could set fields settings for each row...
I would like to have all the data in one straight table so that the user could export to excel.
Thanks,
Steve
One simple method,
Select straight table, include key field as dimension, add calculation expressions, check the 'show in %' property (number).
