SORT ORDER

Hi Friends

I have following Pivot table in my QV doc

I want to sort MAIN_CREDIOR_NAME in descending order. So I have sorted it with following expression

AGGR(SUM({<YEAR={2017}>}FIN_PRE),MAIN_CREDIOR_NAME,RM)

But it is not sorted in that order. Pls help

Hi Uplai, sort works based on field values, so If 'A' is higher than 'B', 'A' will be above 'B' in all RM.

A workoround is using a calculated dimension with Dual to assing a different internal value to each combination:

=Aggr(Dual(MAIN_CREDIOR_NAME, Rowno(TOTAL)), RM, MAIN_CREDIOR_NAME)

Note that using this, when user selects MAIN_CREDIOR_NAME in table, it's also selecting the row value for RM.
