Not sure what you mean when you're referring to dashboards and reports as the where the same.

The dashboard is the Qlikview document (tab)

A report is created by using Reports --> Edit reports

If you want to print a report as pdf, use de pdf printer and print a report to this printer

If you want to save the dashboard view to a pdf, rightclick and select Print..

If you want to save a chart to pdf, rightclick the chart an select Print to PDF

How can I can save a report created by using Reports --> Edit Reports as pdf, without this sort of error?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi Andrea,

We've recently had the same issues using this style of gauge in combination with reports. QlikView seems to have a problem with printing to certain printers (not only pdf, physical printers have the same issues)

I've setup a demo doc with to styles of the gauge and tested 3 PDF printers, bioDPF, FoxitPDF and pdfExchange (PDFExchange is installed with QVServer)

Only the pdfExchange seems to work correct in combination with the gauge style you used.

Thank you so much for your help!

Can you maybe  say to me where I find pdfExchange software? Or is Pdf-Xchange?

HI Andrea81, pdfExhange is installed with QV server. When printing using the Ajax client this printer is used to generate the PDF.

I've reported this as a support case at Qlik, it has been approved and they assigned a bugID

"I agree that the 3D Gauge is not printed properly when using Report.

I have reported your issue as described below to our R&D department with ID 68626."
