Schedule User Designed Reports for Distribution

I have a group of users who have requested the ability to have specific end users (Power Users who went through the 5 day designer/developer course) to be able to create reports off of the Applications that we (the Developers) create. The ultimate goal is to have these power users create a specific report and we somehow automate the sending of these reports to the powers that be. We have the ability to schedule reports that are created with the QVW, but end user created reports are not able to be scheduled. They are saved on the server and can be printed by other users, but cannot be scheduled for distribution.

Our dilemma is that we do not want to give the Power Users access to our developed QVWs in order to add their own reports as this could turn into a nightmare. The other part of this is that we only have two developers, and our time is precious, so we do not want ( and our bosses don't want) to have to take on these ad hoc report requests.

Another alternative (possibly) would be to have the specific end users create a bookmark and have the ability to have a static link to that bookmark. From my understanding (and testing), the "send bookmark as link" is only a temporary link and expires after a short time.

This is all in efforts to get specific high up people the data they want without them having to go through QlikView. QlikView is so much better than a static report, but buy-in from some people is just not happening. Any thoughts on this matter are appreciated!
