Script - upload data from internet

Hello,

I tried to upload an excel file I have stored in a web sharepoint. However, when trying to do that in the "File Wizard: Type" I got the "Bad Zip File" message when selecting the File Type "Excel (xlsx)".

Could you please help ?

Best regards,

Dani

I think the problem is in file,   Are you sure it is xlsx file?

this could be a corrupted file, which due to error shows .xlsx file.

Hi Dani,

What is your load script for this file presently looking like?

Sharepoint can present locations as if they are simply file shares, you can then map a drive to these and then treat your Excel file as if it was a local file.  It can sometimes be problematic though - depending on the version of Sharepoint and the security credentials.  The version of Windows that you are running the client on also makes a difference.

I've contributed to posts previously relating to this, so I would suggest that you do a Google search of this site (it tends to work better than the search box on the site).

Loading from a URL I would expect not to work - you need to make QlikView think it is loading from a local drive or standard network share.
