Section Access Query

Dear Experts,

I need your help in the section access part.

I read many posts about section access based on the NTUSER.

But my request seems little bit tricky.So kindly help me.

The attachment shows the NTUSER name and the Rep IDs assigned to them.One person may/may not have the multiple repid.But their user names will be same.Based on the repids I am buliding rest of the data model.The appllication in the accesspoint should only show only the details of the rep ids assigned to the person who logs in.Also the super user should have access to all the information.

Kindly help me.

Did you read this Document Introduction to Section Access ?

Example 5 shows what you are searching for, only difference is that you use NTNAME and not Username / Password. If you load from the Excel file, use upper for the field as mentioned in the document.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the sharing the link and guidance.

Do I need to provide all the Repids also in the section access table.

Also the super users will not have Rep IDs.

Yes, in the Example 5 it is user 4 having more entries. The Super Users can have blank (all) or * (all listed in SA Matrix) access.

Could you please guide me how this will work for the RepIDs.

Shall I create a new column for Rep IDs and add it here?
