Section Access

Hi,

I am using a application with section access implemented to restrict the access in sheet level not the data reduction.

I have few points to explain.

1. I have created 10 sheets and grouped into 3 sections calling these as module and submodule

like Dashboard,Operation and Market as modules,

where as SH01 to SH03 are under Dashboard, SH04 to SH07 are under Operation and SH08 to SH10 are under Market are created as submodules.

I have created the list boxes for thesheets having one as module (Dashboard, Operation & Market - always one selected checked)

same as for submodules which are separated in excel sheet(attached) having submodule sections.

I have extracted the module and submodule scripts into the qlikview document and implemented with section access.

The application is not hiding the sheets even the user is not having rights to the page.

Find the attachment having both application and excel sheet used for module/submodule creation and database like users and sheets access information.

I hope any one can help in this query. Present using QV9 SR6

Thanks.

For me it hides sheets when logging in as User1 and User2.

You are concatenating your serial number with admin as access under section access. Will you not always enter as Admin if that is also your local serial? Try removing that part and see what happens.
