Selecting the lower level hierarchy to give selection of one level up hierarchy

Hi,

I have a data set with consultants and specilties for the cases seen in the hospital. As a summary, I'd to produce a chart displaying the number of cases seen by consultant (where consultant's name will be selected using a list box). By selecting a consultant, I like another chart to display the total number of cases seen in the relevent speciality.

Another issue. I also like to limit the time dimension to start displaying only from Apr 2012 (from the beginning of the last two financial year).

Any help?
