Selection of subcategories based on category

Hi ,

I have an issue with a chart containing subcategory data,I want it to be populating as per category with out selecting the category.

Please find the attached.

May be use On-Open trigger like this

=If(Count({1} Category) = 1, Category, 'A')

For user that just see 1 category, it will select that category, for other's with global access, they will see A selected in category

Small concern the triggers are not working properly once I refresh the code on access point

Not sure why it didn't work on access point for you... are you sure you saved the file with the trigger and reloaded it on QMC?

Yes I saved the triggers and reloaded it, but it is not saving.
