Set Variable with GetFieldSelections

Hi all,

I'm trying to set the value of a variable to either 1 or 0 based on an if statement, but I can't get it to work...

=IF(GetFieldSelections(Field1 = 'String1'),1,0)

I'm using a Text Object to toggle select the value I want from the field above, and it is changing my active selection without any issue, but the variable remains at 0.

Can anyone help me out with this please?
