Setting when our Financial Year Starts?

Hi all,

I am trying to create a financial calendar where we can set the year start equal to a date, (ie april the 8th (08/04/2010)).

Looking at other posts I have been able to set the month the year starts on but you are unable to specifie the day?

Below is the line of code I have so far which sets the year start to the 1st of April: (I want it to be the 8th of April!?!)

Date(yearstart(TempDate,0,4),'YYYY') as FiscalYear,

Any help would be great!

What is the criteria that tells you to set year start to 04/08/2010. If ther is one then please specify so that some one can help you. What happens next year or prior year , is it the same every time?
