.Shared File Info

Hi Guys,

greetings for the day!

I have one requirement where I have to load Bookmarks info into Dashboard.

My lead asked me to workout with QlikviewServerobjectconnector and .Shared file. After some googling I came to know it's posible.

Please help me on below things:

1) What is .Shared File? How to create .Shared File?

2) How to load data from .Shared file into Qlikview?

Please help me here.

Hi,

1. Shared files contain additional information about User behaviour in your document.

-->f.e. if user create bookmarks, create inputfield values etc.--> this info is all stored inside a shared file.

These files are then automatically generated in the same directory as the original *.qvw file.

2. You can read out those files and even manipulate them with a tool called "Shared file viewer" or repair them with "Shared File Repair", which are part of the "Powertools".
