.Shared file too large - application is unable to open

Has anyone encountered any issue with the .shared file where it is growing in size daily to the point where the application is unable to open?  The size is growing at 300,000 kb a day and needs to be deleted ever 2-3 days. Performance is very slow impacting most users from even opening up the application. The ShareFileReviewer or Repair powertool does not work as it can not open the .shared file.

We have tried numerous reviews from Qlik, but have explained it's working as expected. Unfortunately, this is not sustainable as more users keep being added.  35000k users are able to access this application, however, it's not all bookmarks. The average length of each bookmark = 102220, with others being much larger in length.  DocumentContent and MetaData are small in length.

This is mostly impacted two applications out of about 30 applications on the production server.  Any assistance is appreciated.
