Simple sum in straight table not working

why isnt this simple straight table working

1 expression (sum(value))

nothing is returned

Check for these things:

Is the field called value or Value or VALUE? Also, is value a text or number field?

I agree with Sunny, check the data format of the Value Field. Share sample data to look in the issue.

Also check if the values are Zero and suppress 0 values has been checked in the presentation tab..share a sample app that would be better
