Hi there,
I'm trying to sort a straight table by the result of one of the expression, to do so I put the same expression in the in sort by expression. it somewhat work, but there are some zero values that comes first for a descending order, or at the end for an ascending order.
Does anyone know what could be happen? there are more expressions on the table as well, do they interfere on the sorting?
Thanks,
Fabio
If its a straight table, you can promote your expression in the Sort order to top and sort by it.
This is not the case with Pivot though.
Let me know if you have any questions.
I'm sorry, it is acually a dynamic table.
That was the reason for using of the sort expression. And the expression within the sort has is a set analisys. I reckon it might the reason. Do you know is possible to work it around (without change the data cloud)?
Thanks, and sorry again by the misinformation.
Is your table a straight table or not?
Can you post a screen shot of your sort properties?
For ones that are looking for the solution:
I had a similar problem. The solution is to sort by expression and in this expression use rank function, for ex.
rank(count(id)) and sort it ascending. This will solve the problem . It worked for me.
