Sorting in Pivot
We have a self-service BI pivot table where the user selects any dimension/Dimensions and measures.
The requirement is to Sort the table based on measure- Sales when various dimensions are selected
For example – we have Dim- A,B,C,D,E,F. Some of these dimensions are part of hierarchy (Product line , Product Code etc) while others are not.
We have defined sort order in Table Properties > Sort as B,D,F,A,E and for all these dim we have set in the expression tab as sum(Sales).
The sorting works fine when the user selects only one dimension .
But the sorting does not work when dimensions from different hierarchy are selected.
Is there any other way where this sorting can be achieved?
Thank you in Advance

Pivot is not feasible on sorting.
Use Straight table that will help you out on sorting.
Hope this will be helpful.
