Hi
I'm wondering whether you can format a table in a very specific way. I have two dimensions of interest, and I would like to display the second dimension grouped in sections based on the first dimension. The format however, is that the first dimension is used as a separator in the same column as the second dimension, and not as a separate column which is what Qlikview will do by default.
So a table that looks like this (or the equivalent thereof for a pivot table) is what I have.
| Dimension 1 | Dimension 2 | Expression 1 | Expression 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Section 1 | A | 1 | 12 |
| Section 1 | B | 2 | 11 |
| Section 1 | C | 3 | 10 |
| Section 2 | D | 4 | 9 |
| Section 2 | E | 5 | 8 |
| Section 2 | F | 6 | 7 |
I want it to look like this:
| Dimension 2 | Expression 1 | Expression 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Section 1 | ||
| A | 1 | 12 |
| B | 2 | 11 |
| C | 3 | 10 |
| Section 2 | ||
| D | 4 | 9 |
| E | 5 | 8 |
| F | 6 | 7 |
Is there any way to do this.
Thanks.
Joao.
