Statistic Box Count

Hello,

I'm a newbie and this is my first project with QlikView. I'm running version 9.0 64-bit edition on Vista. I've loaded a large sqlite table (3.63 GB with 16,223,592 records). The settings' table tab shows that the correct number of lines/records were loaded. But when I use the Statistic Box count (for any of the fields), I'm consistently getting a total count of 449,976 records. Is there a reporting selection limit somewhere? (I've got 8 GB RAM).

Thank you for your help!

I guess you made a selection selected that you aren't aware of. Maybe you have locked a selection on another tab?

Hi Peter,

I'm performing a numeric count and a total count (both come out to same number). The field is index'd but would you consider that the same as a primary key? I didn't realize that a general count was specific to the key field if no grouping was performed. Interesting!

Thank you!

Brilliant (first thing out of my mouth was DUH). Sure enough, I deleted the first tab I had played with and it magically corrected!

Thank you all so much!!!!

Have to correct myself: COUNT counts all entries once but when there are NULL-values in the field, it is not counted. But saw that you found the error already.
