Storing, combining, and searching by a list of values

I'm wondering if anybody knows of a way for me to do the following, presumably with a macro:

- make a selection

- store the list of values for a specific field

- make a different selection

- add that list of values to the first list of values

- make a selection based on the combined list

I'm using Qlikview 8.5
