Storing data in a text file with ¬ delimiter

Hello

I'm storing some data from a QVD in to a text file with ¬ delimiter. When opening the file in a notepad, it comes out as a different character - as shown in attached file.

Trying a few other delimiters works fine i.e they are output in the text file as they are specified in the QV code.

Any thoughts will be much appreciated.

Can you change the separator in the QVD file, in principle?

We'd like the separator in the text file when we output the file rather than in the QVD

there is a predefined list of custom delimiters that you can use but '¬' is not one of them

On the data load wizard, select Delimiter dropdown and select Custom to see list of available delimiters that you can use
