Straight Table - Top N Customers' Profit

Hello There!

In a Straight Table, I've selected Restriction 'Show Only Largest N Values' and also 'Show Others' check-box.

Now, when I'm looking at Top 20 Customers' Profit where 'CustomerName' is a Dimension and 'Profit' is an Expression, and the Data appears as below (which is correct):-

CustomerNameProfit
Customer0126.91
Customer0225.65
Customer0315.29
Customer047.21
Customer055.89
Customer065.78
Customer075.77
Customer085.18
Customer094.90
Customer104.48
Customer114.32
Customer124.32
Customer134.22
Customer144.10
Customer153.98
Customer163.76
Customer173.72
Customer183.59
Customer193.52
Customer203.44
Only Others:176.22

However, when I enable another Expression named 'Sales' the list appears for (say) 15 Top Customers as below:-

CustomerNameSalesProfit
Customer01105.6126.91
Customer02126.8625.65
Customer03119.7115.29
Customer0435.897.21
Customer0554.815.89
Customer0627.885.78
Customer0719.035.77
Customer0825.745.18
Customer1122.514.32
Customer1234.034.32
Customer1333.754.22
Customer1426.144.10
Customer1630.043.76
Customer1828.683.59
Customer3222.001.35
Only Others:1,143.41198.91

The Customers are not listed as per the correct Order as highlighted Red in the above. Can anyone help me to sort-out this problem so that   having additional Expression, I can get the correct Customer list (Top 10/15/20....N) as per Descending order of Profit?

Appreciate your prompt response and solution.

Thanks in Advance.

Sajjad.

Hi Sajjad,

dimension limits is based on the first expression in your chart, so move your 'profit' expression to be first if that is the one you want to limit on

Hope that helps

Or if you need the order to be 'sales' and then 'profit', keep these but create 'profit' again as a hidden expression in the first position (can hide in the presentation tab).
