String Function

I am trying to get he first 3 letters of a char string ex: ABC0000123 . How do I do this?

I do not see the substring function though. Is there any other string function which can possibly do it?

Hi Anitha,

Try Left () Function specifying the character limit as the second parameter.

Here,

Left('ABC0000123 ',3) .
