Hi,
I am new to qlikview, and so far the community threads have been a big help.
I am stuck in a particular issue, where I have 2 dimensions (year and month) and 3 expressions (revenue, YoY change, %change) in pivot table. Here month is on row level and year is on column level. and I have a list box for year to select any particular year.
What I want to do here is based on the years selected, just display the YoY change and % Change for the most recent year, while the Revenue is displayed for each selected year.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi,
It is not possible to suppress a expression for one dimension value.

Jagan.
Make Revenue expression conditionally enabled and
write below
Year<Year(Today())
Hi,
By using Set analysis in expression you can acheive Current Year results,
Sum({<Year={'$(=Max(Year))'}>}Sales)
Check this,
Hope this helps,

It's not possible to show an expression column only for one dimension value and not the others. An expression column will be shown for all dimension values if at least one row has a result for any one of the dimension value columns.
Hi Hirish,
Thanks for your reply.
I had already achieved what you have done in your example. My issue is that I want to suppress the % sales column for all the years other than the max year.
Hi ,
May this help
Hi Agnivesh
Thanks for you reply. This is also something that I tried. This solves my problem to some extent, but not completely.
May be I was not clear in my earlier explanation.
What I am trying to do is if more than one year is selected than the % sales should be displayed only for the max year and others should be suppressed.
Again, appreciate the help being provided here.
