TIF file opens in fullscreen

Hi,

When opening up TIF-files from QlikView, they open up in full screen, without any visible scrollbars or application toolbar. That is, it's not possible to see which application is handling the display of the file, and since these files are rather big, you'll only see about 10% of the file, which huge text. It's not possible to neither scroll or zoom out, and when I click on the image (anywhere, it's taking up the full screen) it disappears (closes, I presume).

I've tried associating .tif files with various program in the OS but it seems as if QlikView isn't delegating the previewing of the image to another program. If I open up the .tif files directly, from Windows Explorer, the correct associated program starta up and loads the image, but if I open up the image through qlikview (via e.g. "Info LOAD" and the accompanying "i" icon) then it ignores the association in the OS and opens up the image in some other unidentifiable program.

Any suggestions on how to get around this issue?

Many thanks for your help on this!

Kind regards,

Robert

I am trying to work with .tif files as well in QlikView and ran across your post.  When you say you are opening your .tif file from QlikView, is it from a text box, or URL, or some other means?  I'm trying to visual your steps.  I have a text box set up to represent the image from a folder (that is, I'm not doing a bundle load).
